The final match between top seed Chiu Pin-chian ( world No. 20) and second seed Nguyen Thuy Linh (world No. 24) saw a back-and-forth battle in the first half of the first set.
Vietnam's number one female tennis player had a good start, but when she fell behind 13-17, she lost her accuracy in difficult shots, allowing her opponent to win 21-16.
In the second set, Thùy Linh made a strong start by scoring the first point and leading 6-4, but then allowed her opponent to score 5 consecutive points and take the lead.
The immense psychological pressure caused the player from Phu Tho to make a series of errors, while Chiu Pin-chian capitalized on those mistakes to close out the match with a 21-15 victory, thus claiming the championship title.

Despite setbacks and the inability to break the losing streak, Thùy Linh has shown remarkable progress, reaching the finals of World Tour Super 300 tournaments four times – the best achievement of Vietnamese women's badminton to date. In 2025 alone, Thùy Linh reached the Super 300 finals three times at the Canada Open and the German Open.
Earlier, Thuy Linh had successively defeated players from Chinese Taipei, namely Han Yu Chen and Hung Yi Ting, and the home player Lee So Yul in the quarterfinals, and Hina Akechi (Japan) in the semifinals.
Concluding this tournament, Thuy Linh received $9,120 (approximately 230 million VND) in prize money and 5,950 BWF ranking points, thus maintaining her position in the Top 25 in the world. She still aims to conquer her first Super 300 title in her career.
