After the 2024 Lunar New Year holiday, on February 15 (the 6th day of the Lunar New Year), many businesses in Tien Giang province started operating again with an excited atmosphere, bringing with them expectations for a favorable new year.
Freeview Industrial Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Tan Huong Industrial Park, Chau Thanh District) is a 100% Taiwanese-invested FDI enterprise operating in the field of leather shoe production for export, creating jobs for 21,000 workers. On February 15, the company resumed production and business activities.
Returning to work after a long Tet holiday, the company's staff and workers excitedly started working to be ready to meet the first orders after Tet. Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phuong (worker at Freeview Industrial Vietnam Co., Ltd.) said that after celebrating Tet, all the workers were excited, the happiest thing was receiving lucky money from the leaders. Mr. Phuong hopes that in 2024, the company will have many orders, always develop, and create solid trust from partners and customers.

At the beginning of the new year, the company also created conditions for workers and laborers far from home to have a few more days off. From February 19 onwards, workers will return to work in full. Mr. Le Vo Huu Hanh, Chairman of the Trade Union of Freeview Industrial Vietnam Co., Ltd., said that the company has a total of 20,999 workers and laborers, on the first day of the new year, 19,357 workers returned to work, 1,642 workers were absent because these workers were still on annual leave so they asked for extra days off on Friday and Saturday. After Tet, workers were excited to return to work.
In the first working days of 2024, the Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor (FLD) organized 2 working delegations to the FLDs of districts, cities, towns and industry unions to grasp the situation of activities after the Lunar New Year 2024, especially regarding the activities of enterprises and the situation of workers returning to work. According to the FLD, the whole province has more than 97,800 workers working at 326 enterprises with grassroots unions under the district-level FLDs and industry unions. According to reports from the units, by February 16 (January 7), 75,596/79,923 workers and employees of 214 enterprises (reaching 94.58%) had returned to work; the remaining workers and employees had not returned to work due to vacation, sick leave, etc. The remaining enterprises (more than 17,900 employees) resumed operations on February 17 and February 19 (January 8 and 10 of the year of the Dragon). |
CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company (My Tho Industrial Park, My Tho City) also resumed operations on the 6th day of Tet. According to the company's Trade Union, 100% of employees and workers returned to work. Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Hoa, Chairwoman of CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company's Trade Union, said that workers were excited to return to work after Tet. She acknowledged that they had focused on working from the beginning of the year, so work efficiency increased. Workers hope that the company will develop more in the new year and have more orders.

Quang Viet Tien Giang Company Limited (Tan Huong Industrial Park) also returned to work from February 16. The company has a total of 4,951 workers; on the first day back to work after the Tet holiday, 4,902 workers returned to work. According to the company representative, the workers had a long Tet holiday, so everyone seemed to be re-energized to start work for the new year, promising to meet the factory's production needs well.
From February 15, businesses have resumed production and business activities. Work has returned to its usual busy pace, and everyone is looking forward to a new year 2024 with lots of joy and new successes.
