Responding to and explaining proposals within the central government's jurisdiction, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra stated that at its 10th session, the National Assembly passed a law amending and supplementing several articles of the Law on Prevention and Combat of Corruption. In the healthcare sector, the implementation of Resolution No. 72 of the Politburo on caring for, protecting, and improving the health of the people profoundly reflects the principle of "putting the people at the center."
Regarding healthcare service prices, the Ministry of Health will issue a price framework to serve as a basis for provincial and city People's Councils to decide on appropriate prices based on practical conditions. In the field of education, the Ministry of Education and Training is actively surveying and researching to soon develop a unified set of textbooks nationwide.
Concluding the meeting, Standing Committee member of the Party Central Committee Tran Cam Tu highly appreciated Lao Cai province, which, despite suffering losses of over 3,000 billion VND due to natural disasters, achieved a growth rate of over 8% and collected over 21,000 billion VND in budget revenue, exceeding the central government's assigned target. The Standing Committee member also requested Lao Cai to definitively resolve the legitimate requests of the people; absolutely not allow any cases to remain unresolved for extended periods, avoid causing inconvenience, and not require people to make multiple trips, wasting time and effort. The valid requests of voters must be promptly received and resolved, without delay in serving the people.
