Continue to effectively implement ethnic and religious policies.
On the afternoon of January 20th, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Thai Nguyen province held a conference to summarize its work in 2025 and plan for 2026. Attending and directing the conference was Mr. Nong Quang Nhat, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

In 2025, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions proactively advised the Provincial People's Committee to direct the implementation of tasks in the field of ethnicity, belief, and religion; focusing on implementing programs and policies to ensure social security, contributing to stabilizing the lives of ethnic minority and mountainous communities. State management of belief and religion continued to be strengthened; religious activities remained basically stable, contributing to consolidating national unity.
For the National Target Program for socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, the total capital for 2025 reached over 1.5 trillion VND, with a disbursement rate of 66%. The entire province has invested in the construction of 598 essential infrastructure projects, of which over 500 have been completed, handed over for use, and settled.
The conference devoted considerable time to discussing and agreeing on key tasks and solutions for 2026, determined to successfully complete the work plan that had been set out.

In his remarks at the conference, Comrade Nong Quang Nhat acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions in 2025.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions to continue closely following the directives of the Central Government and the province; strengthen coordination with departments, agencies and localities; focus on effectively implementing ethnic, belief and religious policies, contributing to the successful completion of tasks in 2026.
