Inspect the training of militia and self-defense forces.

On June 2nd, a delegation from Military Region 1, led by Colonel Dang Van Tuan, Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 1, conducted an inspection of the 2026 militia training program at the Phu Luong Area 2 Defense Command and the Yen Trach Commune Military Command.

The delegation focused on inspecting the system of documents, plans, lesson plans, and training records; the leadership, direction, and organization of the implementation of militia and self-defense training tasks by agencies and units. At the same time, they directly inspected the provision of facilities, training grounds, and practice areas, as well as the results of practical training of the militia and self-defense forces.

The inspection revealed that the Phu Luong Area 2 Defense Command and the Yen Trach Commune Military Command had seriously implemented the directives, orders, and guidelines from higher levels regarding training; and proactively advised the local Party committee and government on leading and directing the effective implementation of local defense and military tasks.

Preparations for the training were thorough and complete; the militia forces participating in the training had the correct composition and number of personnel, ensuring absolute safety.

In concluding the inspection, Colonel Dang Van Tuan requested that agencies and units continue to strictly maintain training discipline and procedures; improve the quality of training according to the motto "basic, practical, and solid," closely aligned with the requirements of the mission and operational area; and contribute to building a strong and widespread militia force, meeting the requirements of the mission in the new situation.
