The notorious "fraudulent heiress" is about to be deported from the US.

"Fake socialite" Anna Sorokin is facing the risk of deportation from the United States, as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has indicated its intention to return the convicted fraudster to Germany as soon as possible.

A DHS spokesperson told the New York Post : “For years, she has made a mockery of the U.S. court system and immigration law. She was released and must wear an electronic monitoring bracelet while her appeal against the deportation order is being considered.”

"We hope to bring her back home soon," the person added.

Last week, Delvey (35 years old) went viral on social media when she posted a video demonstrating how to wear tights underneath the electronic monitoring bracelet required by ICE.

Anna Delvey, whose real name is Anna Sorokin, entered the United States on a tourist visa in 2017 but did not leave after her visa expired. The DHS designates her as an "illegal immigrant with a criminal record."

The former Dancing with the Stars contestant continues to draw attention by showing off her long legs in the aforementioned video.

In 2019, the 35-year-old woman was convicted in Manhattan Supreme Court of second-degree theft, conspiracy to commit massive fraud, and theft of services, after impersonating a European heiress to infiltrate New York's elite.

The woman dubbed the "SoHo Scammer" defaulted on a $11,518 bill for a vacation from June 7 to 27, 2017, at the luxurious Beekman Hotel. She then stayed at the W Hotel in New York for two nights but refused to pay a $503.76 bill.

She also left a friend to cover the $62,000 cost of a vacation at a luxurious villa in Marrakech that May.

On another trip to Morocco in 2017, Delvey also defaulted on a $20,000 bill at billionaire Richard Branson's five-star Kasbah Tamadot resort.

Additionally, she failed to pay $35,000 to the private jet company Blade after a flight to Berkshire Hathaway's annual shareholders meeting in Omaha, Nebraska, in May 2017.

Delvey was sentenced to 4 to 12 years in prison but was released in February 2021. In March 2021, she was arrested by ICE for a visa violation and detained until October 2022, before being released on condition of wearing an electronic monitoring device.

Delvey's lawyer has not responded to requests for comment from the press.
