The bodies of two children who drowned in Thia stream have been found.

According to preliminary information, on the afternoon of May 31st, HAĐ (born in 2017, residing in Pá Xổm Hamlet, Trung Tâm Ward) and HAP (born in 2020, residing in Phiêng Village, Văn Chấn Commune, Lào Cai Province) went out to play together but did not return home by evening. Their families organized a search and found a pair of sandals left on the bank of the Thia stream, near Cầu Thia residential area, and reported the incident to the authorities.

The police and the Military Command of Trung Tam Ward were present at the scene, coordinating with Fire and Rescue Team No. 2 to deploy forces and equipment to conduct a search along the Thia stream area.

At approximately 10 PM the same day, authorities found HAP about 100 meters downstream from where the sandals were discovered.

At approximately 7:00 AM on June 1st, the body of child HAĐ was found and handed over to the family.
