Previously, on the evening of August 30, the tropical depression weakened into a low pressure area over Central Laos.
At 10 p.m., the center of the tropical depression was located at approximately 18.1°N; 104.3°E, over Central Laos. The strongest wind in the center of the depression was below level 6 (<39 km/h).
