The center of the storm at 10 pm on July 6 was located at approximately 23.5°N; 120.0°E, on the western coastal area of Taiwan (China). The strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 12 (118-133 km/h), gusting to level 15. The storm moved in a north-northeast direction at a speed of approximately 20-25 km/h.
It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, storm No. 2 will continue to move in the North-Northeast direction at a speed of 20-25km/h and gradually weaken.
The storm is unlikely to return to the East Sea.
Due to the impact of the storm's circulation, on the night of July 6, the northeastern sea area of the North East Sea had strong winds of level 6-8, waves 3-5m high, and rough seas.
From July 7, strong winds continued to decrease.
