Accordingly, the Gia Lai delegation will bring to the 6th Cham Ethnic Culture Festival in 2025 the unique features of the Cham H'roi ethnic culture in Van Canh and Canh Vinh communes; at the same time, emphasizing the deep historical connection with the Champa cultural heritage, as Gia Lai was once the Vijaya capital of the Champa kingdom from the 11th to 15th centuries.
With the theme "Preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the Cham ethnic group in the new era," the delegation of Cham H'roi artisans and athletes from Gia Lai province will participate in a series of cultural, sports , and tourism activities at the festival.

The cultural activities include: performances of Chăm H'roi folk art (folk songs, folk dances, traditional instrumental music); and a fashion show showcasing traditional costumes worn in daily life, festivals, and weddings.
In addition, a segment of a festival, a typical cultural ritual of the Chăm H'roi people, will be vividly recreated.

In addition to cultural activities, the Chăm H'roi athletes will compete in three sports: tug-of-war, stick pushing, and men's mini-football. The tourism promotion activities will include a competition showcasing community tourism skills to introduce attractive local destinations.

The Gia Lai province exhibition space will showcase OCOP products, traditional brocade weaving, and many artifacts and images reflecting the cultural, economic, and social life of the Chăm H'roi people.
In addition, Gia Lai province will contribute 20 high-quality photographs to be displayed in the common space with the theme "The Cham ethnic people accompanying the development of the country". The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will participate in the workshop "Promoting the value of Cham cultural heritage in tourism development".

The festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, was held at April 16th Square (Phan Rang and Dong Hai wards, Khanh Hoa province), with the participation of six provinces and cities: Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, An Giang, and Ho Chi Minh City.
Gia Lai province's participation in this event not only contributes to preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam in general, and the Cham people in particular, but also provides an opportunity to promote the historical and cultural values of Champa in the province. It is also a chance for artisans and athletes to meet, interact, and raise awareness of preserving traditional cultural values in the context of integration.
