I don't like controlling Anh Tú's income.

Anh Tú and Diệu Nhi are a beautiful couple in the Vietnamese entertainment industry. Although they are married, the couple rarely appear together in the same project, and they always avoid using their marital relationship and romantic life to attract attention from the audience.

Speaking to VTC News , Dieu Nhi affirmed that not only are she and her husband independent in their work, but they are also financially independent.

- The premiere of Anh Tú and Diệu Nhi's film "Meeting the Pregnant Woman in the North" seemed to encounter some difficulties when their flight was delayed and they didn't even have time to change clothes or do their makeup before having to go on stage to interact with the audience?

Anh Tú : That's right, it was the most unusual situation I've ever encountered. That day, Hanoi was foggy, so a series of flights were canceled or delayed. We tried everything we could to fly to Hanoi as early as possible, hoping to make it in time for the meet-and-greet with the audience.

In the end, we only had time to move from the airport to the event venue, still dragging our suitcases, without even having time to change into proper outfits. Even Le Giang, who has been in the arts for so many years, exclaimed: "This is the first time I've walked the red carpet carrying a suitcase and wearing my home clothes like this!"

However, for me, this is a very special memory, one I will probably remember for the rest of my life because there has never been anything as interesting as this.

Dieu Nhi: For me, the most memorable thing about that incident was the support and understanding of the audience towards the entire team. I really appreciate this, because the audience only sympathizes with and supports us if they truly care about us.

Diệu Nhi and Anh Tú faced an unusual situation, having to drag their suitcases and wear casual clothes onto the red carpet.

- This is the first project Diệu Nhi and Anh Tú have appeared in together since getting married. Could it be that they've been saving this film for this collaboration?

Anh Tú: That's absolutely not the case. We had a very clear stance when we started dating: we wanted to focus on showcasing each other's efforts in our work to the audience, rather than drawing attention to our relationship.

Actually, we're not too rigid about whether or not we collaborate on projects. When there's a suitable project, we're still willing to work together.

- With such independence in your work and career path, are you financially independent?

Dieu Nhi: I've never had the thought of controlling anyone's income. I also don't like controlling anyone; I understand that everyone's work and finances are different.

The couple are independent both professionally and financially.

- In fact, many people share personal stories as a way to get the audience more interested in the artist and their work. But Dieu Nhi and Anh Tu are very reluctant to mention their relationship, even when working together on a project. Why is that?

Anh Tú: We felt this direction wasn't right for us. From the beginning, Nhi and I wanted to deliver quality products to the audience instead of attracting attention with side stories.

Currently, we are satisfied with what we have, especially with the affection that the audience has shown us.

- In 2023, Dieu Nhi made a strong impression when she participated in the "Beautiful Sisters Riding the Waves" competition. However, she was not included in the list of beautiful women who made it into the group. Are you satisfied with this result?

Dieu Nhi: I am completely satisfied because when I participated in the program, I didn't set any goals like becoming part of a group or winning any awards or positions. I participated because I wanted to do things that I probably wouldn't have the opportunity to do normally. I also wanted to use the program to get to know more women in the industry and have more fun moments.

Honestly, I didn't have any big goals when I participated in the program, but I've gained something incredibly valuable: receiving so much love from the audience.

For me, gaining the audience's affection is the greatest success I've achieved after the show.

- During the time Anh Tú participated in the show "Beautiful Sisters Riding the Waves," how did he support his wife?

Dieu Nhi: When I participated in the program, Anh Tu was working on a film. Because our schedules were different, Anh Tu later just watched the program as a regular audience member.

Anh Tú: At that time, I was working on pre-production for a film, so I could only watch the show after it aired. I felt that Nhi receiving so much love and support from everyone was absolutely wonderful. To be honest, I found Nhi's performance quite amusing.

- The beauty queen who braved the waves has been involved in quite a few controversies: unclear results, internal conflicts among the contestants, mixed reactions from the audience… Does this affect her spirit of participating in the program just for fun?

Dieu Nhi: "The 'Beautiful Sister Riding the Waves' show isn't the only program I've participated in recently, so I can't absorb too much behind-the-scenes information about the show."

What interested me and allowed me to experience firsthand was the affection the beautiful ladies showed for each other and for me. In this respect, I am completely satisfied with the program.
