The General Secretary hopes that UNESCO will always be a companion and reliable partner of Vietnam, especially in preserving and promoting the value of heritage and UNESCO titles in Vietnam for sustainable development.

The General Secretary proposed that UNESCO continue to support the implementation of the Dossier to preserve and promote the value of the World Heritage of Thang Long Imperial Citadel - the sacred heritage of the nation; the Dossier of the Complex of Monuments and Landscapes of Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac to soon be recognized as a World Cultural Heritage in July 2025, as well as other dossiers to be considered in 2025 such as: Dong Ho Folk Painting Art to be recognized as an intangible cultural heritage in need of urgent protection, Ho Chi Minh City in the Global Creative Cities Network, Hanoi in the Global Learning Cities Network, etc.

UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay praised the nearly 50 years of cooperation with Vietnam, recognizing Vietnam as one of the most active members at UNESCO and affirming that "the Vietnam-UNESCO cooperative relationship has never been as good as it is today."

Ms. Audrey Azoulay hopes that Vietnam will continue to contribute more to UNESCO's activities in particular and to the common work of humanity.

The fact that Vietnam is holding positions in key UNESCO mechanisms shows the trust of UNESCO and member countries in Vietnam's contributions.

UNESCO Director General said that Vietnam is a model that many other countries can learn from.

Ms. Audrey Azoulay highly appreciated the vision and wise leadership of the Party and State through major strategies and policies that Vietnam has implemented in recent times.
