Viettel Construction Corporation is honored to have been awarded the title of Hero of Labor by the President of Vietnam.
This is a prestigious award from the Party, State, and Army recognizing the achievements of Viettel Construction Corporation in labor and innovation, contributing to the cause of national construction and defense during the period of reform.
Established on October 30, 1995, Viettel Construction operates based on its core business activities: construction and operation of telecommunications networks, civil construction, infrastructure investment, providing smart solutions and technical services to corporate and household customers both domestically and internationally, while also being ready to undertake tasks to ensure national defense and security.
With their courageous spirit, at the beginning of their historical journey, Viettel soldiers successfully built a series of important projects that left many marks on the country's development, such as: the 125-meter-high television antenna tower of Vietnam Television; the North-South fiber optic backbone project, over 2,000 km long, for the military communication line – a breakthrough solution by Viettel engineers for high-speed data transmission while maintaining safety, confidentiality, and national security; the 120-meter-high antenna tower of Tuyen Quang Television; the 140-meter antenna tower of the Central Television of Laos...
Over the past 10 years, Viettel Construction has consistently strived for innovative work towards the goal of a prosperous nation, a strong country, democracy, fairness, and civilization, affirming its position as "Number 1 in Vietnam" in the construction and operation of domestic telecommunications infrastructure networks, making significant contributions to the country's economic and social development.
Specifically, the telecommunications infrastructure built by the company has tripled compared to before 2013, with nearly 120,000 km of fiber optic cable covering 100% of mainland communes, the construction of nearly 60,000 base stations with a coverage rate of 98% of the population, and 11 million ultra-broadband fixed ports, capable of providing services to 80% of households.
With their courageous spirit, Viettel's soldiers consistently strive for creative work to build and operate the domestic telecommunications infrastructure, making significant contributions to the country's economic and social development.
Furthermore, since 2017, Viettel Construction Corporation has been involved in managing and operating the entire Viettel network infrastructure with 52,412 base stations, 271,000 km of fiber optic cable, and 8 million FTTH lines. It has pioneered the construction and operation of telecommunications infrastructure in border areas, islands, and remote regions of the country, while also pioneering the development of Viettel infrastructure in 10 overseas markets…
Currently, the Corporation has also expanded its business into civil construction, technical solutions and services; to date, the company has established a professional organization and become a strong brand in the domestic market.
In this sector, the company builds an average of over 2,000 houses annually, with a construction coverage of up to 94% nationwide, reaching even the smallest villages and hamlets, and provides millions of households with green, clean, and environmentally friendly solutions such as electronics, air conditioning, solar energy, and household appliance care.
As a highlight in the Group's production and business activities, the company consistently exceeds its production and business targets; the average revenue growth rate over the past 10 years is 26%. For five consecutive years (2020-2024), Viettel Construction has been among the Top 500 Fastest Growing Enterprises in Vietnam.
Particularly in 2024, Viettel Construction Joint Stock Company received a letter of commendation from the Prime Minister for outstandingly completing the task of constructing 9 tower installation locations for the national key project of the 500 kV circuit 3 transmission line in Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Thanh Hoa, and Ha Tinh provinces.
