Summary of the Teaching Evaluation Competition for the 2025-2026 school year

On May 18, 2026, Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy held the Closing Ceremony of the Teaching Evaluation Competition for the 2025-2026 academic year. This event aimed to promote the emulation movement of good teaching and good learning, while also creating a forum for faculty and staff to exchange and learn from each other's professional and pedagogical experiences. This is a meaningful annual activity, demonstrating the university's concern and focus on improving the quality of teaching and the training of medical personnel.

Attending the program were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khai – Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Manh – Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Mai – Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Tham – President of the University's Trade Union; along with members of the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee of the Party Committee, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union; teachers in the Judging Panel and contestants participating in the competition.

This year's competition was held in two rounds with two content categories: Category 1 – theoretical content and Category 2 – practical content, attracting a large number of lecturers to participate. In Round 1, 80 lecturers from 14 departmental trade unions participated; Round 2 continued to see the participation of 32 outstanding lecturers.

Through the competition rounds, many lectures were meticulously prepared, creative, and effectively linked theory with practice, utilizing information technology in teaching, contributing to the spread of innovative teaching methods throughout the school.

At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to lecturers with outstanding achievements, including:
- Two First Prizes were awarded to Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga – Basic Teacher Union 1; and Ms. Le Thi Huong Giang – Internal Medicine Department Union.
- Four Second Prizes were awarded to Ms. Vu Thuy Duong – Faculty of Pharmacy Union, Campus 1; Ms. Hoang Thi Nhu Quynh – Faculty of Pharmacy Union; Ms. Thai Thi Thuy Hoa – Faculty of Pharmacy Union; and Mr. Pham Van Kien – Pediatrics Department Union.
- Six third prizes were awarded to Ms. Dinh Thi Kim Anh – Internal Medicine Department Union; Ms. Dao Thi Ngoc Anh – Surgery Department Union – High School; Ms. Luong Mai Loan – Clinical Teacher 1; Ms. Nguyen Cam Van – Basic Teacher Union 1; Ms. Pham Thi Nhung – Dentistry Department Union; and Ms. Nguyen Mai Phuong – Obstetrics and Gynecology Department Union.
- 20 Encouragement Awards were given to 19 lecturers for theoretical content and 1 lecturer for clinical content.
- Two impressive awards were given to Ms. Luong Thi Mai Loan – Clinical Teachers' Union 1 and Mr. Pham Van Kien – Pediatrics Department Union.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khai – Rector and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Tham – President of the University's Trade Union presented awards to the lecturers who won first prize in the competition.

The Teaching Evaluation Competition for the 2025-2026 academic year is not only an opportunity to review the teaching activities of the University but also a chance to commend the sense of responsibility, dedication, and continuous efforts of the faculty and staff in learning, innovating professional skills, and pedagogical practices. This further affirms the sustainable development orientation, with quality of education as the focus, of Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy in the current period.
