Vietnam Multimedia Communications Corporation (VTC) is under the direct control of the Ministry of Information and Communications .

GENERAL INTRODUCTION

VTC Multimedia Corporation (VTC) is a state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Information and Communications, operating in the fields of television, digital content, telecommunications, and information technology. Throughout its development, VTC has demonstrated dynamism and innovation in applying new technologies and developing new services; a passionate and persistent team in conquering new challenges and overcoming difficulties; thereby building a united team and a sustainable community.

VTC Corporation is a pioneer in researching and successfully applying digital television technology in Vietnam, which is of significant importance for the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Government to formulate the Strategy for the Development of the Vietnamese Television Industry according to advanced digital technology, as per the Project "Digitization of Terrestrial Television Transmission and Broadcasting by 2020".

VTC Corporation is one of the leading units that laid the foundation for the formation and development of the Digital Content Industry in Vietnam. Over the years, the strong growth of Vietnam's Digital Content Industry has created a new impetus in the field of Information Technology, serving as a crucial element in realizing the Government's plan to "Make Vietnam a strong country in Information and Communication Technology as soon as possible."

With these achievements, VTC Corporation has been recognized and awarded many prestigious titles by the Party and the State: 3 "Hero of Labor in the Renovation Period" titles for 2 collectives and 1 individual; 1 Second-Class Independence Order, nearly 50 Labor Orders of various classes (1st, 2nd, and 3rd), and many other certificates of merit and titles awarded by the Government and the Ministry of Information and Communications.
