Top chefs are coming to Vietnam.

For the first time, Miss Universe H'Hen Niê takes on the challenge of hosting a program.

In 2023, Vietnamese cuisine achieved significant global recognition. According to Taste Atlas, Vietnam was ranked among the Top 20 best cuisines in the world. Travel & Leisure magazine in the US praised Vietnamese cuisine as "the epitome of culinary excellence" and suggested that if international visitors wanted to experience Vietnamese food, Vietnam should be their first destination in 2023.

Driven by the ambition to create a television program that discovers culinary talent with the mission of promoting Vietnamese cuisine and bringing it to the international stage, the prestigious Top Chef Vietnam 2023 culinary competition is a battle between 16 professional chefs.

The unique and valuable creations of Vietnamese cuisine that will captivate the judges' palates must meet the following criteria: exquisite flavor, cooking technique, creative thinking, artistic presentation, local character, and a focus on a high-end culinary experience. The Quick Challenge is a competition testing the chef's speed and adaptability in unexpected situations, as well as giving the winning chef priority in the next challenge. The Elimination Challenge is a highly professional cooking competition with secret themes and ingredients provided by the program.

And Luke Nguyen is the judging panel for the competition.

Top Chef is a culinary reality TV show that has been successfully produced and broadcast in 28 countries, and has been loved by global audiences for the past 15 years for its connection between cuisine, food, cooks, food connoisseurs, and its introduction of the unique culinary traditions of countries around the world.

Top Chef Vietnam will premiere at 8:30 PM every Monday on VTV3, starting June 12th. The main judging panel consists of Chef Alain Nguyen and Chef Luke Nguyen. Miss Universe H'hen Niê will be trying her hand at hosting for the first time in Top Chef Vietnam 2023.
