The Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park Management Board (SHTP) has just issued a decision approving the adjustment of the investment policy and approving the investor for the Nipro Vietnam factory project in the High-Tech Park.
According to the revised decision, the capital contribution schedule for the Nipro Vietnam factory project will be implemented in stages.
Specifically, the adjusted capital contribution schedule is as follows: $200 million in 2023; $20 million in 2024-2025; $50 million in 2026-2027; $90 million in 2028-2029; $110 million in 2030-2031; and $100 million in 2032.
The total capital contribution progress by 2032 is $570 million.

The second adjustment concerns the project implementation schedule for the goal of producing dialysis filters.
The adjustment schedule is to complete the project adjustment procedures for the blood dialysis machine (license adjustment) by December 2024. Simultaneously, the application dossiers for permits from the environmental management agency and the construction management agency will be completed to renovate and upgrade the existing factory and install machinery for the new blood dialysis machine product.
The project, scheduled from January 2025 to November 2026, involves renovating and upgrading the existing factory, installing machinery for the new blood dialysis filter product, and conducting trial operations.
By 2026, production of hemodialysis filters will officially begin using V1 and V2 production lines. By 2030, production will expand to V3 and V4 lines. By 2032, production will continue using V5 and V6 lines.
Previously, in March 2021, Nipro Corporation (Japan) applied for a license to expand its factory in the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park to begin producing blood filters in 2023.
However, due to complications with the 1/2000 planning adjustment and awaiting guidance on environmental impact assessment from relevant authorities, the Nipro Group's project in the High-Tech Park has only recently been resolved.
