More than 1,100 civil servants, public employees and workers in Ho Chi Minh City are participating in a series of 5 training courses on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AI applications, lasting from late September to early November 2025.

Implementing the policy of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and People's Committee on promoting research, development and application of AI, the Department of Science and Technology (KH&CN) of Ho Chi Minh City has coordinated with the Department of Home Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City, Advanced Micro Devices Company (AMD) and SUN Edu International Education Joint Stock Company (SunEdu) to organize a series of intensive training courses in this field.

The program is one of the key contents to implement the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the City People's Committee and AMD Group on June 12, 2025. Accordingly, the Department of Science and Technology is assigned to be the official focal point, coordinating with relevant departments and branches to implement specific cooperation contents.

The training program is built according to the standards of AMD University Program, taught directly by experts from AMD and its partner in Vietnam, SunEdu. After completing the course, students will be awarded an international certificate. The training content ranges from basic to advanced knowledge, helping students grasp the latest technology trends and be able to apply AI to practical work.

The AI ​​training program in 2025 is expected to become an important premise for Ho Chi Minh City to continue to expand the training model in the following years, contributing to building high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of developing the digital economy , digital society and innovation of the city.
