We deeply appreciate the noble deeds and efforts of the Party branch secretaries in the neighborhood/hamlet.

On February 1-2, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee organized a program for the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to visit and extend New Year greetings to exemplary Party branch secretaries in residential areas and apartment buildings in District 7 for the Year of the Dragon 2024.

District 7 has 5 exemplary Party branch secretaries from residential areas and apartment buildings, including: Nguyen Minh Truc, Secretary of Party Branch No. 9 (Phu Thuan Ward Party Committee); Bui Anh Phuong, Secretary of Phu My Apartment Building Party Branch (Phu My Ward Party Committee); Vu Van Thanh, Secretary of Party Branch No. 13 (Tan Quy Ward Party Committee); Bui Ngoc Phuong, Secretary of Party Branch No. 10 (Tan Thuan Tay Ward Party Committee); and Pham Thanh Quyen, Secretary of Party Branch No. 11 (Tan Phong Ward Party Committee).

Speaking at the program, Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Head of the Organization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, said that in recent years, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has implemented many mechanisms and policies to care for, support, and create conditions to improve the capacity and promote the role of Party committee members and Party branch secretaries in neighborhoods/hamlets throughout the city. There is a system of allowances according to general regulations and specific regulations of Ho Chi Minh City for Party committee members and Party branch secretaries in neighborhoods/hamlets. At the same time, exemplary educational solutions and commendations for Party branch secretaries in neighborhoods/hamlets have been organized from the local level to the city level.

“In 2023, Ho Chi Minh City commended all neighborhood/hamlet Party branch secretaries citywide, and the Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee personally honored each comrade. From 2024, this will be implemented regularly and will be decentralized from the grassroots level to the city level. In particular, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has included the position of neighborhood/hamlet Party branch secretary in the Tet (Lunar New Year) visit program of the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City,” Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc further informed.

Reviewing the biographies of the exemplary Party branch secretaries in residential areas and apartment buildings in District 7, as well as their outstanding achievements in local work, the Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Nguyen Phuoc Loc, emphasized that these comrades have dedicated their years of enthusiasm to their agencies and units, and after retirement, they continue to maintain close ties with the residential areas where they live.

“Comrades have made excellent efforts, promoting the spirit of solidarity, cooperation, and shared responsibility of the Party branch, Party committee, and the leadership role of the neighborhood management board, apartment building management board, and people's organizations to organize patriotic emulation movements and local development,” Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc praised. This has contributed to improving the material and spiritual lives of the people in the residential area, creating consensus and credibility for implementing Party building work, and contributing to leading people's organizations to be strong.

Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc commended the efforts of the comrades in contributing to the development of the locality; and expressed his hope that the secretaries of the Party branches in residential areas and apartment buildings would continue to build national unity and mobilize the people to correctly implement the Party's policies and the laws of the state.
