
According to Ms. Duong Thi Huyen Tram, Head of the Social Work Department of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Khanh Hoa province is in urgent need of support for many items such as: health care, disease control after floods; repairing 550 broadcasting stations; repairing 33 damaged schools and purchasing equipment, machinery, and teaching and learning tools.

Representatives of leaders of agencies, units, armed forces and press agencies also quickly reported on the work of mobilizing resources to support Khanh Hoa province in recent days.

At the meeting, comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc expressed his deep gratitude to the organizations, forces and people of the city who participated in mobilizing resources and joining hands and hearts to support people in flood-affected areas.
He shared that in recent days, many beautiful gestures, many kind hearts and silent contributions have created a great source of strength, continuing to spread the spirit of "HCMC for the whole country, with the whole country". That spirit of solidarity of the Party Committee, government and people of HCMC has promptly shared and supported compatriots in disaster areas, helping people to quickly overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
"We support in the most urgent, practical spirit and with the best conditions that Ho Chi Minh City can mobilize" - Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc emphasized.

According to him, Ho Chi Minh City is coordinating with Khanh Hoa province to deploy 6 key areas to support overcoming the consequences of natural disasters. The priority task is to immediately deliver essential goods, food and family medicine kits to the affected areas, ensuring that no one goes hungry or cold.
Along with that, we organize a free kitchen, providing hot meals every day for the people and all the forces on duty in Khanh Hoa province. At the same time, we support the restoration of the telecommunications broadcasting station system.

Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc also affirmed that Ho Chi Minh City will continue to participate in repairing, renovating and maintaining broadcasting stations, schools and medical stations with an investment of about 200 billion VND.
The comrade assigned the Department of Science and Technology to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to support the restoration of the telecommunications system. The Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union presides over and coordinates with the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Volunteer Force, the Department of Health, the Department of Education and Training, the business community and press agencies to support the repair of schools and medical stations.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health participates in health check-ups, disease assessment to increase appropriate specialist doctors, support the local health sector to stabilize soon, especially in disease prevention after floods.
The Department of Industry and Trade is in charge of advising on ensuring the supply of goods from Ho Chi Minh City and other places to affected areas, avoiding disruption of the supply chain.
Immediately following the direction of comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, SGGP Newspaper registered to support Vinh Phuong 2 Primary School (North Nha Trang Ward) with 40 sets of tables and chairs, 10 sets of computers, and storybooks, with a total value equivalent to 250 million VND.

Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc was moved to share that in recent days, there have been many humane acts. These include old people lying in hospital beds still using their savings to support their fellow countrymen; students breaking their piggy banks to support; businesses providing services have let people transfer service fees directly to the account of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; war invalids, sick soldiers, and retirees, despite their difficulties, still share both materially and spiritually...

Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc affirmed that Ho Chi Minh City is always "for the whole country, with the whole country" and hopes that units will continue to be proactive, creative, flexible, and implement humane and effective solutions to accompany Khanh Hoa province and other affected localities to quickly overcome difficulties.
Ho Chi Minh City has supported Khanh Hoa province:
- 50 billion VND
- Operate 4 field kitchens (providing 24,000 meals/day/2 meals)
- Coordinated with armed forces and transportation businesses to support 10,000 life jackets, more than 2,430 tons of essential goods and 10,000 family medicine bags.

- Increase 30 - 50 doctors to participate in relief, support examination, treatment and disease control after floods.
- 11 garbage trucks, 6 garbage compactors and 300 workers collect and process waste and mud after the storm.
- 150 Youth Union volunteers, 200 City Youth Union volunteers, 300 environmental sanitation volunteers participated in supporting people at key locations.
- 200 officers and soldiers of the Mobile Police, Ho Chi Minh City Police participated in overcoming the consequences.
- Mobilize forces to support the repair of damaged schools, helping to soon stabilize teaching and learning.
