Comrade Luu Van Ban, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Deputy Head of the Document Editorial Team in charge of the Socio -Economic Department, chaired the meeting.

On the morning of November 11th, the Editorial Board for the Documents of the 18th Congress of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, met to review the draft (second version) of the political report on socio-economic development, science and technology, environment, national defense and security, inspection, justice, and foreign affairs.

Comrade Luu Van Ban, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Deputy Head of the Document Editorial Team in charge of the Socio-Economic Department, chaired the meeting.

Before the meeting, the Department of Planning and Investment compiled a report and sent it to the delegates. The meeting went straight to discussing the issues suggested by Comrade Luu Van Ban, Deputy Head of the Editorial Team.

Comrade Luu Van Ban, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, directed the heads of departments and agencies that are members of the Document Subcommittee and the Document Editorial Team to continue reviewing and preparing reports for their respective sectors and fields.

Reports should be based on resolutions and socio-economic development programs of the Central Government and the province, ensuring comprehensiveness, conciseness, and succinctness; they should include analysis and comparison with the targets of the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025, and with other provinces and cities in the Red River Delta region.

For each area, the report should assess achievements and shortcomings, clearly identify limitations, and propose specific directions and solutions for improvement in the next term.

Comrade Lưu Văn Bản, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, noted that departments and agencies need to review the data in the report.

The report should get straight to the point, highlighting the key issues in each industry and sector, avoiding a mere list of contents.

The natural resources and environment sector needs to provide more in-depth reports and assessments, including data on several indicators related to land allocation, resolving issues in compensation and land clearance, mineral management, and environmental issues related to waste and wastewater.

The report needs to include achievements in the transportation sector, with particular emphasis on the results achieved in transportation infrastructure investment.

After receiving reports from departments and agencies, the Document Drafting Team researches, edits, and finalizes the overall report of the Socio-Economic Section. The report's structure follows a general overview and assessment before detailing the specific contents.

Comrade Luu Van Ban instructed the Department of Planning and Investment to incorporate the feedback from the meeting and finalize the draft report so that the Document Drafting Team can complete the overall report of the Socio-Economic Section within the prescribed timeframe.
