Through numerous practical programs and actions, women's associations at all levels in Ha Tinh province continue to create and pave the way for women members to constantly enhance their roles in life. For Ms. Kieu Thi Cuc (residential area 7, Huong Khe town), 2023 was a significant milestone in her life, when she participated in and won third prize at the "Ha Tinh Women's Entrepreneurship - Developing Local Resources" competition, organized by the Provincial Women's Union. Ms. Cuc shared: "Even now, I still feel happy about what I experienced at the competition. It's not just about the prize value, but also about the journey of overcoming myself. From being a shy person who was afraid of crowds, I was able to write down my startup idea and confidently stand up to present it to the judges and guests."
Witnessing Ms. Kieu Thi Cuc's confident and articulate presentation of her startup idea, "Producing nutritional oil for babies' weaning," at the competition, few would guess that she is a rural woman from a mountainous region, with no formal training. This is all thanks to her participation in training courses and startup competitions organized by women's associations at various levels over the past period.

Ms. Kieu Thi Cuc is one of many women who, thanks to the programs and actions of women's associations at all levels, have become increasingly confident and affirmed the role of women in the new era.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Ha, President of the Ha Tinh Provincial Women's Union, stated: “In 2023, the Provincial Women's Union launched the emulation movement "Promoting the sense of responsibility and creativity of union officials and members, effectively implementing the targets and tasks of union work and local political tasks," linked with the implementation of the emulation movement "Building the Vietnamese woman of the new era." We have directed all levels of the union to implement many practical action programs with a wide-ranging impact on all levels of the union and female members, and have achieved many outstanding results.”

In 2023, women's associations at all levels in Ha Tinh province carried out many meaningful activities to concretize the emulation movement "Building the Vietnamese woman of the new era," such as: a thematic conference on "The role and requirements of the women's movement in the current period"; organizing the photo contest "Ao Dai with the homeland of Ha Tinh" to promote tourism in the province; a folk dance exchange "Following in the footsteps of the military march" to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the Dong Loc Victory; the Provincial Women's Volleyball Tournament...

In addition, women's associations at all levels actively mobilize and support women in economic development, entrepreneurship, sustainable poverty reduction, participation in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; promote social welfare activities, contributing to the effective implementation of "Godmother" programs, and supporting livelihood models for poor women...

The Provincial Women's Union also organized a ceremony to commend 58 outstanding grassroots women's union chairpersons and exemplary branch leaders; organized a "Forum for exchanging experiences and commending exemplary families"; implemented the "5-Person Family - Model New Rural Area" model for the 2021-2023 period; organized an exchange of communication initiatives on building "5 No's, 3 Cleanliness" and "5 Yes's, 3 Cleanliness" families to cultivate Vietnamese family values... In particular, the Provincial Women's Union successfully led the research and discussion on the topic "Solutions to enhance the role of gender in family building in the integration period in Ha Tinh," attracting a large number of researchers and officials from various departments and agencies to participate...
To further support female members in promoting their roles and continuously enhancing their status, in 2024, the Provincial Women's Union will continue to vigorously implement the emulation movement "Building the Vietnamese Woman of the New Era" associated with studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh, improving the quality of the campaign "Building a family with 5 no's and 3 clean's", preserving good values and developing the Vietnamese family value system.
The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Ha Van Hung, and representatives of the Provincial Women's Union presented flowers and tokens to outstanding grassroots women's union chairpersons at the "May Flowers for Uncle Ho" program in May 2023.
Simultaneously, the unit concretized and implemented the breakthrough "strengthening the application of information technology in association activities"; diversified forms of attracting and gathering members; and improved the quality of inspection and supervision within the association system. The association continued to effectively implement projects of the Government and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union; national target programs for building new rural areas, sustainable poverty reduction, and the "One Commune, One Product" program; the "Accompanying Women in Border Areas" program, the "Godmother" program, etc.
