Recently, the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Club - Vietnamese Student Association in Russia donated a computer room to a disadvantaged school in Bao Toan commune, Bao Lac district, Cao Bang province.
With the permission and guidance of the Vietnamese Party Committee in the Russian Federation, the Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Youth Union and Student Association in Russia, and members of the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Club, the inauguration ceremony of the computer room for the Coc Chom branch of Bao Toan Ethnic Boarding Primary School was held.
At the inauguration ceremony, the club donated the entire donated fund of 97 million VND to the students at Coc Chom school, providing them with facilities and gifts including: a renovated computer room with 7 computer sets, 8 sets of desks and chairs, and 10 gifts for outstanding students.
Representatives from the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association presented a computer lab to Principal Nguyen Thi Manh, representing the school.
This project aims to enhance knowledge acquisition in the era of rapidly developing information technology and support the education of children in mountainous regions.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Manh, Principal of Bao Toan Ethnic Boarding Primary School, emotionally shared the difficulties faced by the school's teachers and expressed her deep gratitude for the help and support from the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Club.
The program concluded in a warm atmosphere with a cultural exchange. The highlight was the performance by teachers and students accompanied by the đàn tính – a familiar Vietnamese folk instrument of the Northwest region.

The Vietnam-Russia Friendship Bracelet was established in 2017 with the aim of bringing together enthusiastic and dynamic Vietnamese students studying abroad to participate in volunteer and charitable activities throughout Russia. This strengthens the friendship between the two nations and helps promote the image of Vietnamese people as compassionate and supportive individuals to the international community.
Over the past period, the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association has become the largest student charity organization in Russia, having organized more than 20 activities, including: monthly blood donation drives; charity music nights such as "Thuong 2021" and "Journey of Youth 2022"; fundraising activities "For the Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa" and many other meaningful activities, attracting nearly 8000 volunteers with a total donation amount exceeding 175 million VND to date.
During the 2022-2024 term, the club aims to improve modern learning conditions, promote the development of information technology, and support education for children in remote areas.
