(CT) - According to the Representative Board of the Elderly Association of Can Tho City, currently, the entire city has 14,399 elderly people participating in work within the grassroots political system, playing a core role in socio-political activities. In 2025, 2,792 elderly people will be officials of the Association for the Promotion of Learning out of 17,138 participating elderly people, actively mobilizing notebooks and gifts to help poor and studious students, totaling over 450 million VND; providing regular subsidies to over 400 poor and studious students.
