On the morning of November 16th, the Provincial Federation of Labor Unions held a conference to implement the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Labor Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term and some contents of the Law on Implementing Democracy at the Grassroots Level for nearly 200 delegates, including Chairpersons and Vice-Chairpersons of grassroots labor unions with a large number of members and workers.
At the conference, delegates heard a presentation on the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term, which included: some outstanding results in implementing the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Trade Union Congress (2018-2023); limitations, shortcomings, and causes of shortcomings in the past term; and directions, tasks, and solutions for the 2023-2028 term.
Simultaneously, the program will implement some basic contents of the Law on the Implementation of Democracy at the Grassroots Level, the necessary skills and expertise in inspection and supervision by the People's Inspection Committee in agencies, units, and enterprises; and the role of grassroots trade union organizations in building, promulgating, and implementing democratic regulations at the grassroots level.
This is also an opportunity for delegates to share skills and experiences, learn, improve their professional capacity, and continue to build a strong and thriving trade union.
The conference aims to raise awareness and responsibility among trade union officials, members, and workers at all levels in organizing and implementing key programs, patriotic emulation movements, and campaigns; actively fulfilling political tasks and contributing to the successful achievement of the targets set forth in the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Trade Union Congress.
