On the morning of November 16, the Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to deploy the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term and some contents of the Law on Implementing Democracy at the Grassroots Level for nearly 200 delegates who are Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of grassroots trade unions with a large number of union members and workers.
At the conference, delegates listened to the implementation of the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term with the following contents: some outstanding results in implementing the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Trade Union Congress (2018-2023); limitations, shortcomings, causes of shortcomings in the past term; directions, tasks, and solutions for the 2023-2028 term.
At the same time, deploy some basic contents of the Law on Implementing Democracy at the Grassroots Level, necessary skills and expertise in inspection and supervision of the People's Inspectorate in agencies, units and enterprises; the role of grassroots trade unions in building, promulgating and implementing grassroots democracy regulations.
This is also an opportunity for delegates to share skills, experiences, learn, improve professional capacity, and continue to build a strong and sustainable union.
Through the conference, the awareness and responsibility of union officials, union members, and employees at all levels of the union are raised in organizing and implementing key programs, patriotic emulation movements and campaigns; actively performing political tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of the targets set out in the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Trade Union Congress.
