According to Mr. BT Tee - General Director of Informa Markets Vietnam - the organizer of ProPak Vietnam, in recent years, the food and beverage processing and packaging industry has grown strongly thanks to the rapid development of e-commerce, delivery applications, and free trade agreements that Vietnam has participated in. Besides economic benefits, this development poses an urgent need for protecting resources and the environment, as Vietnam is facing the challenge of having to deal with the sudden increase in waste from the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.

“Many major manufacturers are making great efforts to invent new technologies, materials and designs that create less waste, are highly recyclable, have lower costs and simpler processes. This is also the role of the exhibition, bringing the most modern technologies to help improve production processes for businesses. ”- Mr. BT Tee shared.
