Ho Chi Minh City: Serious traffic jam at Thu Duc intersection

On the morning of October 6, a serious traffic jam occurred at Thu Duc intersection (Ho Chi Minh City), causing thousands of vehicles to move slowly.

According to the reporter, at around 7am the same day, a large number of vehicles from Vo Nguyen Giap, Le Van Viet and Vo Van Ngan streets poured into this intersection, causing traffic conflicts and prolonged congestion. Many motorcyclists, due to waiting for a long time, turned around and drove in the opposite direction on Vo Nguyen Giap Street, making the traffic even more chaotic.

Traffic jams were widespread on nearby roads such as Nguyen Van Ba, Le Van Chi, Quang Trung, etc. Many residents said it took nearly 30 minutes to get past Thu Duc intersection. Many people were late for work and school because they could not catch the bus.
