The exhibition "Van Gogh Alive Bangkok" is held at the ICONSIAM complex in Bangkok, covering an area of 4,120 square meters. The exhibition displays more than 3,000 masterpieces of the famous artist Van Gogh, from paintings and sketches to prints, helping visitors explore the colorful and emotional world of the talented artist and better understand his thoughts and feelings during the period from 1880 to 1890.
The first thing that impresses visitors when entering the exhibition space is the SENSORY4 digital projection technology covering the giant 6-meter-high walls and on the exhibition floor, bringing a sense of life.
Ricardo Rodolfo Frontini - A visitor from Italy shared: "My favorite painting by Van Gogh is "Starry Night". When I looked at the beautiful landscape in the painting, I was mesmerized. It was also the first painting by Van Gogh that we learned about in school in Italy. It was very beautiful and I really liked it."
Not only that, visitors to the exhibition also have the feeling of being immersed in Van Gogh's artworks. They can sit in Van Gogh's Bedroom in Arles, walk through the rows of sunflowers or cross the bridge in Starry Night Over the Rhone, take pictures in Daubigny's Garden or even have a cup of coffee at the Night Café. And if you want to be the main character in Van Gogh's paintings, this will be your chance.
The exhibition uses artificial intelligence algorithms based on techniques and details in the paintings to create portraits of visitors in the style of Van Gogh.
The immersive and digital art exhibition "Van Gogh Alive Bangkok" is open to visitors from now until July 31.
