Fans expressed concern when Ronaldo warned Hojlund when Portugal and Denmark met in the second leg of the UEFA Nations League quarter-finals. Previously in the first leg, after scoring the only goal to help Denmark win, Hojlund had a "Siu" celebration, which is Ronaldo's trademark.

“I train myself based on Ronaldo’s inspiration. I do push-ups and sit-ups every day before going to bed based on him. Because I want to become a similar version of Ronaldo.”
