According to the exam plan, this year the Foreign Language Specialized High School does not consider direct admission, but gives priority to candidates.
The school organizes the 10th grade entrance exam in 3 subjects: Assessment of Foreign Language capacity, Assessment of Math and Natural Science capacity, Assessment of Literature and Social Science capacity.
Specifically, subject 1 - Assessing foreign language ability with multiple-choice test and essay, lasting 90 minutes. Candidates can take the exam in one of the following foreign languages: English, Russian, French, Chinese, German, Japanese, Korean.
Subject 2 – Assessing Math and Natural Science abilities with a 55-minute multiple-choice exam.
Subject 3 – Assessment of Literature and Social Sciences capacity with exam format of multiple choice and essay; for a period of 55 minutes.

Foreign Language High School for Specialized Students selects students based on the principle of taking the total score from high to low until the end of the quota from the specialized system with scholarships and the specialized system, respectively.
The admission score is the total score of the exam subjects on a 10-point scale, the foreign language subject has a coefficient of 2 and is rounded to two decimal places. Test scores and benchmark scores will be announced at the same time. Exam results will be announced before June 30 on the school's website.
In 2024, the total target of foreign language specialized high schools is 525, including specialized systems and specialized systems with scholarships, an increase of 25 targets compared to 2023. In particular, both specialized and specialized systems with scholarships will increase their targets, because this year the school is no longer recruiting non-majors.
