The admission score for the above majors is for candidates in region 3. The difference in score between two groups of subjects is 1 point, between two adjacent regions is 0.25 point. And is calculated according to the formula: Priority score = [(30 - Total score achieved)/7.5] x Priority score that candidates are entitled to according to the regulations of the Admission Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training .
With 7 training majors, the school has a benchmark score of 18.12 - 25.65. In which, the major with the lowest score is Business Administration, group A01 with 18.12 points. The highest major is 25.65 points, group X78 (Literature, English, economic education and law).
This year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law will enroll 3,350 students, an increase of about 150 students compared to last year.
In 2025, the number of candidates and registration wishes both increased sharply. Nationwide, there were more than 7.6 million registered wishes, accounting for more than 73% of the total number of candidates. On average, each candidate registered nearly 9 wishes. The number of candidates registering for admission also skyrocketed by more than 115,000 compared to 2024, partly due to vocational colleges participating in the common admission system.
The benchmark score is more difficult to predict than previous years, which is the general opinion of many universities in this year's virtual filtering process, due to major changes in the way it is organized and implemented.
