Tra Vinh University implements many policies to support students

On August 22, information from Tra Vinh University, Vinh Long province said that the school will implement many support policies for new students in the 2025-2026 school year to reduce financial burden and encourage them to make efforts in their studies.

Accordingly, new students with excellent results in this year's admission will be considered for a bonus of 7-10 million VND. 100% tuition exemption for students majoring in traditional musical instrument performance and a living allowance of 450,000 VND/month; 30% tuition reduction for the entire course for students majoring in cultural studies, musicology and Khmer language.

At the same time, the school also offers scholarships equivalent to 50% of the full course tuition fee for female students studying in the following engineering and technology groups: Traffic Construction Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology, Control and Automation Engineering Technology, Automotive Engineering Technology, etc. Offer scholarships equivalent to 30% of the full course tuition fee for female students studying applied chemistry.

From the 2025 regular enrollment period, the school will provide 100% scholarships for first-year tuition for students majoring in: Plant Protection; Chemical Engineering Technology; Social Work; Pharmaceutical Chemistry; Traffic Construction Engineering; Public Health; Biotechnology ; Political Science; Artificial Intelligence; Mechatronics and Environmental Engineering.

Scholarships equivalent to 50% of tuition fees are awarded to students enrolled in the Business Administration and Information Technology (English Integrated Program) training program. The scholarship period is calculated from the time of admission to this program from the beginning of the second semester (excluding the first semester of English study) of the course.

From 2021 to present, Tra Vinh University has implemented a policy of tuition fee exemption, financial support for purchasing vehicles, learning materials, social allowances, and scholarships to encourage learning for over 13,110 students, with a total value of more than 60.7 billion VND. In addition, there are many scholarships sponsored by organizations, individuals, and businesses for students who overcome difficulties in studying.
