(GLO)- On August 22, the Party Committee of Binh Hiep commune (Gia Lai province) successfully organized the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. One of the tasks set by the Congress in the new term is to focus on developing agriculture towards commodity production and high-tech application.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Phong Vu - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission attended and delivered a speech directing the Congress.

Also attending the Congress were comrades: Bui Thuy - Deputy Director of Department of Locality II - Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Colonel Do Xuan Hung - Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 5; Phan Quang Thai - Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission and 160 delegates representing more than 650 party members in the entire Party Committee.

Amidst many difficulties and challenges, during the past term, the Party Committee and people of Binh Hiep commune have united, strived and achieved many important achievements.

In particular, the work of building the Party and the political system has always been consolidated and enhanced, constantly promoting its role in social life. The commune's economy continues to develop, the basic growth indicators have all reached and exceeded the targets set by the Resolution.

By 2030, the average total product value per hectare of cultivated land will reach 185 million VND; the average income per capita will be 91 million VND; the average annual multidimensional poverty rate will decrease by 0.69%, the poverty rate will be equal to or lower than the average level of the province...

In the 2025-2030 term, Binh Hiep commune sets out the following criteria: every year, over 90% of grassroots party organizations and affiliated party cells complete their tasks well or better; the growth rate of total product value in the 2025-2030 period reaches 6.9%.

To complete these targets, the Party Committee of Binh Hiep commune has specified 5 key tasks and 4 breakthroughs. In particular, the Party Committee of the commune strengthens Party building and rectification; builds a streamlined political system apparatus that operates effectively and efficiently.

Focus on developing agricultural economy towards commodity production, applying high technology, associated with building advanced new rural areas; develop industry step by step to become a spearhead economic sector.

Master plan and details of Binh Hiep commune in a modern direction; develop infrastructure connecting with key traffic hubs associated with the development of trade, services, community tourism ...

Speaking at the Congress, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Thi Phong Vu suggested that based on their own potentials and advantages, the Party Committee, government and people of Binh Hiep commune need to continue to mobilize and effectively use resources, strongly promote the spirit of solidarity, and make the commune increasingly prosperous, strong and civilized.

In particular, immediately after the Congress, the new Party Committee of Binh Hiep commune needs to urgently develop regulations and work programs, concretize the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress into programs, plans, projects, options, tasks, and very specific solutions to deploy and successfully implement the Congress resolution's goals. Especially effectively implement the spirit of "clear people, clear work, clear responsibilities, clear products, specific results, clear deadlines, and clear roadmap".

The Congress announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and key positions of the Binh Hiep Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, the Commune Party Executive Committee consists of 23 comrades; Comrade Le Minh Luc was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee.
