From today, a series of fees and charges will be exempted and reduced to support businesses and people.

The Ministry of Finance issued Circular No. 64/2025/TT-BTC regulating collection levels and exemptions of certain fees and charges to support businesses and people.

Accordingly, from July 1 to December 31, 2026, the Ministry of Finance stipulates exemption of appraisal fees for granting electricity operation licenses as prescribed in the Schedule of appraisal fees for granting electricity operation licenses issued for cases of granting amendments and supplements to electricity operation licenses due to changes in head office address when amending and supplementing licenses due to rearrangement and reorganization of administrative units at all levels.

In addition, 46 fees and charges will be reduced by 50% during the same period as prescribed in this Circular.

Specifically, the reduced fees include business registration fees, licensing fees for the establishment and operation of banks and non-bank credit institutions; fees for appraisal of restricted goods and services; fees for appraisal and approval of fire prevention and fighting designs; fees for appraisal of construction investment projects; fees for certification of origin of goods (C/O); fees for concession of exploitation of airports and airfields.

Other types are also reduced by 50%, such as fees for granting licenses to send workers to work abroad for a limited period of time; fees for assessing and granting licenses for international and domestic travel services; fees for issuing, changing, and reissuing ID cards and passports; fees in the fields of health care , securities, etc.

Previously, the Ministry of Finance said that with the above reduction level and application period, it is expected that the implementation of this policy will reduce budget revenue by about 700 billion VND and support people and businesses by about more than 3,000 billion VND.

This fee reduction is expected to help businesses and people stabilize production and business, contributing to economic recovery and growth. This is the 6th year the Ministry of Finance has reduced fees to support people and businesses.
