Looking back over the years, amidst significant changes in national education , Le Loi High School has faced numerous difficulties and challenges, such as: a segment of students showing a decline in motivation; some teachers not being truly bold in innovating teaching methods or being passionate about their profession; and although facilities have improved, they are still limited compared to the increasingly high demands of modern education. However, thanks to the close attention and guidance of the education sector, the Party committee, and the government; the dedication, solidarity, and responsibility of the school's teaching staff; and especially the strength from emulation movements, Le Loi High School has gradually overcome difficulties and achieved many successes in its educational activities.
Ms. Do Thi Hong Hanh, Principal of Le Loi High School, shared: “Remembering President Ho Chi Minh's teaching: 'Competition is patriotism, and patriotism requires competition,' from the early years of our young education system, the education sector launched the 'Teaching Well - Learning Well' emulation movement. In the 21st century, this emulation movement has been concretized through campaigns such as: 'Building friendly schools and active students,' 'Every teacher is a role model of morality, self-learning, and creativity,' 'Innovation and creativity in teaching and learning'... and has been implemented very effectively. These emulation movements and campaigns are not only reminders, but also guiding principles for the school's educational activities, aiming for quality, student progress, and a comprehensively developed society.”
To organize effective, practical, and sustainable emulation movements, the key solution implemented by Le Loi High School is to link these movements with the core tasks of the school year. According to the Principal of Le Loi High School, Do Thi Hong Hanh, closely adhering to the themes and core tasks directed by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) and the Department of Education and Training, the emulation movements launched by Le Loi High School are not separate from professional activities, but are closely linked to the quality of teaching and learning; to moral education and life skills; and to the results of students' training and participation in extracurricular activities. Each emulation movement has specific criteria, implementation time, preliminary and final summaries, and is integrated into the professional plan of each subject group and each class.
In particular, the school organized competitions in various forms: individual, group, weekly, monthly, and semester-based. Simultaneously, it mobilized the coordinated participation of the school's management board, subject departments, youth union, trade union, and parent association, as well as focusing on innovating the evaluation and timely reward system. In the 2023-2024 school year, Le Loi High School awarded over 600 million VND to staff, teachers, and students who performed well in the emulation movements and achieved high results in teaching and learning. In the 2024-2025 school year, the reward money for staff, teachers, and students will reach nearly 1 billion VND. “The timely, accurate, and transparent awarding of prizes has created a great motivation for the emulation movement,” shared Ms. Do Thi Hong Hanh, Principal of Le Loi High School.
If the emulation movement is the "nursery," then exemplary individuals are the "sweet fruits." Therefore, to cultivate truly inspiring role models, Le Loi High School places special emphasis on identifying and nurturing outstanding individuals. Simultaneously, the school creates platforms for these role models to showcase their talents and inspire others, such as organizing exchange sessions, experience-sharing events, and thematic seminars where exemplary individuals are introduced, share their experiences, and are listened to. Images and stories of these exemplary individuals are also posted on the school's bulletin board, website, and fan page to encourage the collective spirit of emulation...
Thanks to the successful implementation of emulation movements and the building of exemplary models, the quality of education at Le Loi High School has seen significant improvements. In the 2023-2024 school year, the school ranked third among high schools in the province with a total of 47 provincial-level awards for outstanding students, including 5 first prizes; in the 2024-2025 school year, the school ranked first among high schools in the province with a total of 47 awards, including 9 first prizes. In the 2024 high school graduation exam, 100% of students passed; 19 exam papers received a perfect score of 10; and 115 students achieved a total score of 27 points or higher in the three subjects for university admission. In the 2025 exam, 100% of students will pass. There were 37 perfect scores (10 points), ranking first in the province in terms of the number of perfect scores. Notably, student Trinh Van Hieu, from class 12A1, excelled, achieving the top position in the province's A-block and second place nationwide with a total score of 29.75/30 in the three subjects; student Le Thi Kim Chi achieved 38/40 points in the total graduation exam subjects, ranking second in the province and 31st nationwide. Based on these achievements through various emulation movements, in 2024 the school was honored to receive the Government 's Emulation Flag; and in 2025, it will receive the Excellent Emulation Flag from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Experience has shown that successful educational institutions are always those that know how to properly foster emulation movements, build exemplary models to serve as shining examples, and create a ripple effect in the community. Le Loi High School is no exception to this rule. When every teacher is dedicated to innovation and every student is inspired with a desire for progress, the emulation movement will become a continuous flow, leading the school towards truly valuable educational outcomes.
