STEM policy credit consulting in Cam Ranh ward

On May 18th, the Cam Ranh branch of the Vietnam Social Policy Bank organized a program to promote and advise on credit programs for students, including master's and doctoral students, studying science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Nearly 2,500 teachers and students from Phan Boi Chau High School (Cam Ranh ward) and Ngo Gia Tu High School (Bac Cam Ranh ward) participated in the program.

At the outreach event, the leaders of the Cam Ranh branch of the Social Policy Bank introduced the core contents of the policy, the objectives of financial support, and the creation of conditions for students to confidently pursue STEM fields to serve socio -economic development and promote digital transformation. According to regulations, eligible borrowers include students, graduate students, and doctoral candidates studying STEM fields. The funds are used to cover tuition fees, living expenses, and other necessary study costs. Specifically, the maximum loan amount for tuition fees is the full tuition fee; for living expenses and other costs, the maximum loan is 5 million VND/month, with a preferential interest rate of 4.8%/year...

Through this activity, students are provided with complete and accurate information about the State's preferential credit policies, contributing to raising awareness, career orientation, and encouraging them to confidently choose to study STEM fields.
