On the night of June 22nd, Thien Truong Stadium was ablaze with excitement, the cheers and drums echoing throughout the stands as Tuan Anh's Nam Dinh team celebrated their V-League 2024-2025 championship title after a 1-0 victory over Hong Linh Ha Tinh in round 26.

After the curtain closed, one person sat quietly alone on the grass. Nguyen Tuan Anh! After the match, Tuan Anh posted two status updates on his personal page that read like poetry: “Sometimes waving hello to the sun on the trees. The first words of the day.” He also included a photo containing two very different “messages.”
One photo is of myself, sitting alone, lost in thought. The other is a photo of the Nam Dinh team receiving the championship trophy, with flags and flowers everywhere.
In fact, the match against Ha Tinh was almost a formality because Nam Dinh had already secured the championship after round 25. The joy of an early championship win was even more complete when Tuan Anh and his teammates ended the season with a victory, right on their home ground. But perhaps, deep down, Tuan Anh still felt a sense of unease, an emotion perhaps difficult to describe, difficult to put into words. And the photo of him sitting alone on the field speaks volumes.
A moment of reflection!
Minh Vương leaves: Where is the golden generation of HAGL now?
Tuan Anh and his journey of ups and downs.
The talented player, born in 1995, was once an icon of HAGL, rising through the ranks of their prestigious academy, having played in Japan, and once known as "the Nho of the mountain town" – yet throughout his youth at HAGL, he never once lifted a championship trophy. The winning cup remained a distant dream.

Tuan Anh in the match against Ha Tinh on June 22nd. Recently, after the 25th round match, in an interview with Football Magazine, he shared: "This season is the first time I've officially won the championship with Nam Dinh Club. Before that, in the 2023-2024 season, although we also won the championship, that year I was still a HAGL player on loan to Nam Dinh, so the feeling is a little different. However, every championship is wonderful, because it's the effort and hard work of all the team members throughout the season. As a player, no one doesn't want to touch the championship trophy at least once, and I'm no exception, but for a long time, that wish remained just a wish. Therefore, when I won the championship twice with Nam Dinh, the feeling was amazing, it's hard to describe and there were so many emotions."

For years, he dedicated himself silently, battling through injuries, and watching his teammates leave – Cong Phuong, Xuan Truong, Van Toan… but Tuan Anh remained, sticking with HAGL as if it were a promise. Then, one day, Tuan Anh also decided to leave the mountain town. He chose to return to Nam Dinh – his birthplace, where Thien Truong Stadium is always a cauldron of passion, with the most enthusiastic fans in the V-League.
Without fanfare or any pronouncements, he returned like a quiet son. And he enjoyed the joy of glory. With Nam Dinh.
Tuan Anh remains the same – calm, quiet, and full of inner strength. The moment he sits alone in the middle of Thien Truong Stadium – it's not loneliness, but a moment for a warrior to look back on the journey he has taken. A journey of tears, pain, patience, and unwavering faith.
Today, he is the champion!
