After two years of postponement due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, Hue Festival 2022 officially opened on the evening of June 25 at Ngo Mon Square, Hue City, with the theme "Cultural heritage with integration and development". Hue Festival 2022 organized this time is an effort of Thua Thien Hue province to bring life back to normal; at the same time, contributing to stimulating demand with the goal of developing tourism "Proactive - sustainable - safe".

Vietnam.vn introduces to you a photo collection "Hue Festival Week 2022" taken by author Tran Huu Minh on this occasion. The photo collection recreates some of the characteristics of Hue during the Hue Festival Week in 2022. Hue Festival 2022 is a lively blend of tradition and modernity, experiencing the attractive cultural and artistic colors of Hue culture, Vietnamese culture and countries around the world , immersing yourself in the ancient space of a civilized ancient capital with seven heritages honored by UNESCO, but still shining with the vitality of a green, environmentally friendly and sustainably developed city. Hue Festival 2022 continues to affirm the determination to build Hue into an Asian Festival City, worthy of being one of the unique cultural and tourism centers of Vietnam. The photo collection was submitted by the author to the Happy Vietnam Photo and Video Contest, organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications .

From Hue Festival 2022, the festival will be organized in a four-season format. The goal is to increase the ability to attract tourists, develop the economy, and reduce pressure on the budget. At the same time, create professionalism, enhance the brand, build and create a stable source of funding, and be proactive in organizing.

Each contest category (photo and video) has the following prizes and prize values:
– 01 Gold Medal: 70,000,000 VND
– 02 Silver Medals: 20,000,000 VND
– 03 Bronze Medals: 10,000,000 VND
– 10 Consolation prizes: 5,000,000 VND
– 01 most voted work: 5,000,000 VND
The winning authors will be invited by the Organizing Committee to attend the announcement ceremony and award prizes and certificates on live television broadcast of Vietnam Television.
