The Polish Film Week in Vietnam in 2025 is organized by the Vietnam Film Department (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in collaboration with the Polish Film Producers Association.
The films selected for screening are diverse in genre and content, authentically portraying the country, its people, and life in Poland; and the cultural exchange between Vietnam and Poland.

Among them, "Entropia" (directed by Anna Fam-Rieskaniemi) explores the cultural clash between Poland and Vietnam and the journey of unraveling "social turmoil," where troubling questions force us to confront and take responsibility. "The Outcast" (directed by Aleksander Pietrzak) depicts the unexpected troubles befalling Magda and Arek's seemingly peaceful family. Will they all find their own path to happiness?
The film "The Flame of Rebirth" (directed by Kinga Debska) tells the story of 20-year-old Nastka, who sees her own story from behind a small window, a world that her cerebral palsy prevents her from accessing. The film "The Glorious Melody" (directed by Jakub Piatek) depicts the world's most outstanding young piano talents gathering in Warsaw, Poland, where the five-yearly Chopin International Piano Competition determines a historic moment. More than just a story about music , the film is a journey of maturation for these young artists, caught between passion, pressure, and the aspiration to reach the pinnacle of success.
“Kulej – After the Spotlight” (directed by Xawery Zulawski) is about Jerzy and Helena Kulej, the most passionate couple in Poland in the 1960s. Jerzy was a boxing legend with two European championships, eight national championships, and the only Polish boxer to win two Olympic gold medals. Helena, a strong woman who always stood by Jerzy's side, refused to remain forever in the shadow of her husband's glory. “The Horror Story” (directed by Adrian Apanel) is a coming-of-age story that is also a biting satire of the modern job market.
And the film "Our Journey" (directed by Mariusz Kuczewski) is a humorous yet touching story about a family in a whirlwind of chaos. Everything starts to spiral out of control when the elderly couple, Józiek and Ela, decide to embark on a trip around Poland. An adventure filled with laughter, affection, and unexpected moments.
The opening ceremony of the Polish Film Week in Vietnam will take place at 7:30 PM on December 5th at the National Film Center (87 Lang Ha, Hanoi).
