Youth of Division 363 organizes many activities "Repaying gratitude"

The Youth Union organizations in the entire Division have promoted propaganda andeducation on the tradition of "Repaying gratitude", "When drinking water, remember its source", especially the birth and meaning of War Invalids and Martyrs Day in many flexible and diverse forms and methods through activities, study, internal radio system, billboard system, slogans, propaganda paintings, etc. Thereby, contributing to propagating and educating cadres and youth union members about the tradition and morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" of the Vietnamese people; arousing pride, identifying responsibilities well, striving to compete in studying and training, and completing all assigned tasks well.

On the evening of July 26, more than 50 cadres and youth union members of the agencies of Division 295 and Regiment 295 (Division 363) participated in the "Candle lighting ceremony to honor heroic martyrs" to commemorate the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024) at the Martyrs Cemetery of Nam Son Ward, Kien An District (Hai Phong City) organized by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Kien An District.

Youth of Division 363 participated in the candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at Nam Son Ward Cemetery, Kien An District ( Hai Phong City).

In the solemn and emotional atmosphere of the ceremony, delegates and nearly 1,000 youth union members, people, and relatives of heroic martyrs offered incense, flowers, and lit candles to express their respect and deep gratitude to the heroes and martyrs who did not spare their blood and bones, sacrificed for national independence and the happiness of the people, and at the same time expressed their infinite condolences to the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, a communist soldier, an outstanding leader, intellectual, and brave of the Vietnamese revolution, a great and loyal personality.

Representing the youth of Division 363, Major Doan Huu Huynh, Deputy Political Commissar of Regiment 295 (Division 363) expressed his pride and deep gratitude for the sacrifices and silent contributions of the heroic Vietnamese Mothers, relatives of those who contributed to the revolution; especially the wounded and sick soldiers, Heroes, Martyrs and millions of compatriots who did not spare their youth and blood to bravely fight in two long-term resistance wars, to win the country's integrity and preserve the independence and freedom of the nation. The youth of Division 363 vows to inherit and continue writing the glorious pages of history of the nation, striving to study, train, and contribute their youth to firmly protect the sacred sea and sky of the Fatherland.

Previously, the youth of Regiment 295 (Division 363) participated in the program "Flowers offered to martyrs' graves" to celebrate the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, co-organized by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Nam Son Ward (Kien An District) at Nam Son Ward Cemetery. After participating in offering incense and flowers to commemorate the heroes and martyrs who died for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, the Youth Union cleaned and beautified the grounds, replaced sand, flowers, vases and incense for more than 500 graves of heroes and martyrs at the Cemetery.

Gently cleaning the graves of martyrs at the cemetery, Senior Lieutenant Tran Manh Dung, Secretary of the Youth Union of Company 10 (Regiment 295) shared: “Drinking water, remembering its source, showing gratitude to those who died for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland is both a tradition and a fine morality of the nation. Participating in the program is both an honor and a responsibility for the cadres and youth union members of the unit. Remembering the great contributions of the heroes and martyrs, our young generation will strive to study, train, and excellently complete the assigned tasks, worthy of the great sacrifices of our predecessors.”

Cadres and youth union members of Regiment 285 visited and gave gifts to policy families in Hai Phong city.

On this occasion, agencies and units in the Division mobilized more than 300 cadres and union members to participate in activities to help people in the areas where the units are stationed.

At the locations, the Youth Union organizations deployed members to clean the Memorial House, Martyrs' Cemetery, plant more than 500 trees on rural roads, residential areas, schools, medical stations, and beautify trees; visit and present gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, People's Armed Forces Heroes, war invalids, martyrs, families with preferential policies, and people with meritorious services to the revolution with a total amount of more than 50 million VND.

In particular, the 238th Regiment (363rd Division) had a trip to visit the Vinh Linh battlefield, Quang Tri - where 57 years ago, the officers and soldiers of the Regiment made a great achievement on September 17, 1967, shooting down the first B-52 on the Vietnam battlefield, which later became a good experience on how to fight B-52, and at the same time was the basis for the Army to write the red book "How to fight B-52". Here, the youth of the 238th Regiment had a traditional meeting with the veterans who participated in shooting down the first B-52 on the Vietnam battlefield and the local people; presented 10 gifts to families in difficult circumstances and families with revolutionary contributions in Ben Quan town...

The profound gratitude activities of the youth of Division 363 these days are the promises of determination to continue to inherit and preserve the revolutionary achievements that previous generations have built; to promote intelligence, dynamism, creativity, bring youthful energy, volunteerism, not afraid of hardship, ready to face difficulties and challenges, go anywhere, do anything when the Fatherland and the People need; always believe in and vow to follow the path chosen by the Party, Uncle Ho and the People, determined to build a strong and comprehensive unit that is "exemplary and typical", to build the homeland and country to become increasingly rich and civilized./.
