Naval Region 3 said the conference aimed to assess the actual training of units in the entire region; improve the overall quality, command organization, operation, and coordination of cadres at all levels and the capacity to exploit and use technical equipment of officers and soldiers in the entire unit.
Thereby, continue to adjust and supplement combat readiness plans and operational plans, ensuring they are consistent with the practical situation and specific conditions of the Command of Region 3 and agencies and units to meet the requirements of the task of protecting sea and island sovereignty in the new situation, especially in the context of short preparation time.

Colonel Vu Dinh Hien, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Region 3, said that the units had done a good job of preparing for the exercise; focusing on preparing documents, materials, and training ship and industry officers.
Close coordination between ship, shore missile, and radar forces was ensured; live-fire exercises of ship and shore forces were 100% completed with good content and program according to plan, achieving the set goals and requirements, ensuring absolute safety during the performance of tasks.
Mr. Hien suggested that agencies and units learn from experience, propose leadership and direction measures, and improve the quality of combat training of their units in the coming time.
