Báo Thanh niênBáo Thanh niên20/01/2024

Artificial intelligence (AI) has become "popular" for users since the appearance of ChatGPT in late 2022 and really exploded in 2023. But for businesses, the application of this technology has been brewing for a long time and has contributed significantly to the digital transformation process, improving operational efficiency. According to the 2022 report of market research firm McKinsey, up to 50% of businesses responding to the survey said they had started applying AI, while in 2017 it was only 20%. This rate is increasing rapidly, with Forbes ' report showing that the majority of business owners believe in the effectiveness of this tool.

On average, each business uses four AI features. The two most common AI functions are optimizing operations/service delivery processes and using AI to create new products. In 2018, 40% of businesses spent more than 5% of their budget on AI, and by 2022, the rate will increase to about 52%.

Artificial intelligence will appear in hardware devices of all sizes to best meet the needs and characteristics of each customer segment.

To meet that demand, the world's leading hardware manufacturers have also "jumped into" the AI game with famous names such as Nvidia, Asus... According to Mr. Dang Van Binh - AIoT Product Manager of Asus, AI is becoming one of the important trends in businesses, helping to increase competitiveness and take advantage of the best opportunities.

"Currently, AI applications in business are very diverse, including customer service chatbots, predictive analytics, personalized marketing, supply chain optimization, virtual assistants, image and voice recognition, recommendation systems and process automation...", Mr. Binh discussed at the event "Asus Expert Series - Specialized and comprehensive solutions for businesses" recently held in Hoa Binh .

Applying artificial intelligence to important hardware products such as computers in enterprises can bring many benefits, but it also comes with challenges, including ensuring information security, training employees and ensuring the transparency of algorithms. Therefore, Asus leaders believe that AI deployment in enterprises needs to be done carefully and planned, well prepared and properly invested to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of the digital transformation process.

Also at the event, Asus introduced a series of Mini PCs, NUCs (Next Unit of Computing) and all-in-one computers (AIOs) to solve the problem of finding compact computers that save space and energy but still have enough power for each individual and specific need of the business. The models all have new generation CPUs from Intel or AMD, with Nvidia graphics options. With the current AI trend, these systems are all in the plan to integrate artificial intelligence as well as apply new technology to meet diverse usage purposes.
