Vietnam women's volleyball team goes to Thailand to attend World Championship without Bich Tuyen

On the morning of August 20, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team arrived at Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi) to depart for Thailand to participate in the 2025 World Championship.

This tournament is a historic milestone for Vietnamese volleyball as this is the first time the Vietnamese women's team has had the opportunity to compete in the world arena.

Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet brought 13 official athletes. The unfortunate absence of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team was Bich Tuyen, when she withdrew due to personal reasons.

In their first participation, the Vietnamese girls are in Group G with Poland, Germany and Kenya. According to the schedule, Coach Tuan Kiet's team will meet Poland (August 23), Germany (August 25) and Kenya (August 27).

The 2025 Women's Volleyball World Cup will feature 32 teams, divided into eight groups. The teams will compete in a round robin to determine the top two teams from each group to advance to the round of 16.

Opposite: Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh.

Set 2: Doan Thi Lam Oanh, Vo Thi Kim Thoa.

Libero: Nguyen Khanh Dang, Nguyen Thi Ninh Anh.
