Although not used to the rain and slippery field conditions, the MU Legends team started the game better and quickly opened the score in the 6th minute. The Vietnamese All Stars defense was somewhat passive when a MU legend player committed a foul. Young player Nata Souza quickly entered the penalty area to score.
Less than 5 minutes later, Vietnam All Stars conceded their second goal. Goalkeeper Duong Hong Son made a mistake when he let the ball slip through his legs in a rather weak shot. However, the slippery field and heavy rain greatly affected the goalkeeper's judgment.
Despite losing 2 goals early, Vietnam All Stars quickly regained their spirit thanks to Van Quyet's brilliance. In the 21st minute, famous player Huynh Duc made a great pass for Van Quyet to escape. The Hanoi FC striker excellently dribbled the ball past the goalkeeper and finished into an empty net.
In the 29th minute, Van Quyet dribbled skillfully and was pulled down by a defender of the MU Legends team in the penalty area. On the penalty spot, Van Quyen easily fooled the goalkeeper to score the equalizer 2-2.

In the second half, each team gradually replaced players but Van Quyet remained on the field for the Vietnam All-Stars team. In the 65th minute, the Manchester Reds goalkeeper handled the ball carelessly, passing the ball straight to Van Quyet's feet and the Hanoi FC striker did not refuse this "gift" to raise the score to 3-2 for the Vietnam All-Stars team.
In the remaining minutes, most of the legends left the field, making way for the young players. The speed of the match was pushed up. However, the young players of both sides were a bit hasty, so the final handling of the situations was inaccurate. That was the reason why no more goals were scored. The match ended with a score of 3-2 in favor of the Vietnam All-Stars team.
