The Vietnamese team was playing well, but suddenly conceded an unfortunate goal in the 53rd minute. From a long pass in the middle, striker Farukh Choudhary easily passed defender Que Ngoc Hai. He calmly transferred the ball to his left foot, skillfully chipped the ball over goalkeeper Nguyen Filip's head.

Que Ngoc Hai ran helplessly to save the goal but it was too late. India had a surprising equalizer 1-1. This was Choudhary's first goal for the Indian national team since May 2021.
