According to PhoneArena , Apple's Notes app is one of the core applications on iOS, and also a prime example of the power of the Apple ecosystem.
The app offers seamless syncing across iPhone, iPad, and Mac, supports various content formats, and includes other useful features. Unlike other multi-device syncing note-taking apps, Notes is completely free.

But since Apple released iOS 17, the app has been crashing frequently for many users, and complaints have been mounting for months on tech forums (like Reddit). To date, there is still no viable solution to fix this problem.
The problem seems to lie in the iCloud synchronization process, especially since most users experiencing this issue have reported that when iCloud synchronization is turned off, the app works normally. But as soon as the feature is turned back on, the app crashes after a few minutes, preventing users from writing new notes or searching and viewing old notes.
Users have tried various methods to troubleshoot the issue, and a few seem to have succeeded, such as: tapping and holding the icon, then selecting Scan document. Others have suggested deleting and reinstalling the app.
Alternatively, users can submit a support ticket to Apple, which will inform the company that this is a major issue and allow them to resolve it promptly through a software update.
