Provincial People's Committee Office works with VNPT Son La on upgrading the Provincial Electronic Information Portal

(sonla.gov.vn) On August 20, 2025, the Provincial People's Committee Office had a working session with VNPT Son La to discuss and propose solutions to upgrade and complete the Provincial Electronic Information Portal system. Comrade Nguyen Van Manh, Deputy Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office chaired the meeting.

Attending were leaders and technical staff in charge of the Provincial Electronic Information Portal; Director, Deputy Director of the Information Center and related departments of VNPT Son La .

In recent years, the Provincial Electronic Information Portal has promoted its role as the official information channel of the Provincial People's Committee on the network environment, promptly posting directives and management documents of the Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee; at the same time serving the information lookup needs of organizations, individuals and businesses in the area. However, in the face of increasing demands for providing comprehensive online public services, integrating and sharing data and ensuring network safety and security, the current Electronic Information Portal system needs to be upgraded and edited to meet the requirements of tasks in the new period.

At the meeting, representatives of the Provincial People's Committee Office and VNPT Son La discussed technical solutions, plans to upgrade infrastructure, interface, add online public service features, improve integration with digital platform systems of the province and the Central Government, and ensure network information security standards.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Van Manh, Deputy Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office, emphasized: Upgrading and completing the Electronic Information Portal is an important task to meet the requirements of digital transformation in the operations of state administrative agencies; at the same time, improving the quality of service for people and businesses in accessing online public services. He requested VNPT Son La to closely coordinate with the Information Center of the Provincial People's Committee Office to soon develop a roadmap and detailed plan, ensuring the system operates stably, safely, effectively, meeting immediate and long-term requirements.
