Hoa Minzy releases MV "Pain in the middle of peace" to pay tribute to heroic Vietnamese mothers

“Pain in the Middle of Peace” was composed by musician Nguyen Van Chung, directed by Nhu Dang and performed by Hoa Minzy.

This is the product that marks the return of the female singer after the success of the MV “Bac Bling”. “Noi dau giu hoa binh” is a song about the theme of revolution, praising the great sacrifice of heroic Vietnamese wives and mothers whose husbands and children died on the battlefield.

In the work, Hoa Minzy and musician Nguyen Van Chung chose the perspective of a mother and a wife to tell the story of a husband and a son wearing the green uniform of a soldier, dedicating their youth to the freedom of the Fatherland. Although now, after many years, the day of peace has returned, but in the midst of a peaceful life, the pain still quietly smolders in the hearts of the wife and mother.

In the MV, Hoa Minzy builds a story in the rear of Captain Ta. She transforms into the role of a gentle, hard-working wife and daughter-in-law, living in a love that is separated when her husband participates in the 81-day and night battle of Quang Tri Citadel . In "Pain in the middle of peace", the female singer collaborates with actor Phuong Nam (as the husband), who plays Ta - the captain of Squad 1 in the movie "Red Rain" and People's Artist Nhu Quynh (as the mother).

Hoa Minzy said that the desire to make a music product about the theme of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers has been cherished by her for a long time. During her visit to Quang Tri on July 27, she had the opportunity to visit and hear the touching story of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Dao Thi Vui. Mother Vui had a husband and only child who were martyrs (her husband was martyr Le Hoi who died in 1948, her son was martyr Le Thinh who died in 1969). The pain of a mother in peacetime and the endless longing for her husband and children urged Hoa Minzy to be determined to make a MV to pay tribute to the great sacrifices of wives and mothers who were strong in the rear.

In addition, participating in the film “Red Rain” also brought Hoa Minzy profound experiences when acting in a film project about the war. Through the role, she understood the pain and great loss of the wives and mothers of martyrs and heroes. In particular, the passionate patriotism is the reason that urged Hoa Minzy to devote all her heart and soul to the determination to make a MV about the theme of heroic Vietnamese mothers.

Hoa Minzy hopes that the MV “Pain in the Middle of Peace” can spread positive values, evoke gratitude and love for heroic Vietnamese wives and mothers. “I hope that through this work, the audience will partly understand the fierceness of the 81-day battle at Quang Tri Citadel during the days of bombs and bullets. From there, they will appreciate more the peaceful life today, be proud of the soldiers who sacrificed for the Fatherland, and be grateful to the heroic Vietnamese mothers and wives who wiped away their tears to see their children off,” the singer emotionally expressed.
