In a solemn atmosphere, delegates, descendants and people respectfully offered incense and flowers to commemorate and express gratitude for the great contributions of General Secretary Ha Huy Tap to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

Comrade Ha Huy Tap was born in 1906, in a poor Confucian family in Kim Nac village, Tho Ngoa commune, now Cam Hung commune, Ha Tinh province, a land of studious people, rich in patriotic and revolutionary traditions. He soon absorbed the good traditions of his homeland and family, participated in revolutionary activities and soon matured.

As General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (1936-1938), he and the Central Committee led the revolution to overcome many difficulties, especially in building policies, restoring the Party organization and mass movements...

On August 28, 1941, comrade Ha Huy Tap was executed by the French colonialists. His life and career are a shining example of a senior leader, an excellent theorist, a loyal communist soldier, who sacrificed his whole life for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and the happiness of the people.
