On the evening of December 3, at Becamex Hotel ( Binh Duong Ward), within the framework of the Smart Community Forum Global Summit 2025 (ICF Global Summit 2025), the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee organized a Gala Dinner and the ceremony to honor the TOP 1 ICF 2025. Attending the event was Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Loc Ha.
At the ceremony, ICF representatives awarded the TOP 1 title to Durham City. This is a community that is assessed to have an outstanding smart development strategy, modern governance capabilities and persistent efforts in digital and green transformation, aiming to improve the quality of life of its people.
Speaking at the program, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Loc Ha congratulated Durham City and acknowledged the efforts of the communities in the SMART 21 and Top 7 lists this year. According to him, this title is an affirmation of strategic vision and adaptability to global challenges.
Looking back at the two working days, the conference outlined a vivid picture of the future of smart cities: from governance, sustainable development, artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure to innovation culture and community connection. The sharing of experts and speakers brought Ho Chi Minh City more suggestions in the journey of dual transformation and building a creative super city.
Ho Chi Minh City respectfully invites urban leaders, international experts and technology enterprises to continue to accompany, expand cooperation, and implement long-term projects in innovation, digital transformation, greening infrastructure and developing high-quality human resources.
